Choose Yer Ohm: A beginner’s synth-building workshop

This workshop will provide a rundown of the bits and pieces of a basic oscillator-synthesizer circuit. Participants will be familiarized with components such as integrated circuits, capacitors and resistors, and will construct an oscillator circuit of their own. Gadgets such as light sensors, potentiometers and even fresh fruit will be used to control the sounds produced by the circuit.
